MANSON – A new roundabout to improve safety and mobility is on its way for the increasingly busy State Route 150/No See-Um Road intersection, and the Washington State Department of Transportation is providing an opportunity to see and discuss the design, construction schedule and traffic control when work begins in 2017.

Attendees at the open house will see the design, traffic control and construction exhibits and can talk to our staff. The open house is before the Manson Community Council meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 15, at the Manson Parks and Recreation building:

  • What: SR 150/No See-Um Road intersection improvements open house
  • Where: Manson Parks and Recreation meeting room, 142 Pedoi Street, Manson
  • When: 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15

More than 10,000 vehicles per day already use the intersection and are causing longer delays for traffic. Hundreds more drivers will use this intersection to access yet-to-be-developed residential lots.

In 2012, WSDOT received funding to design and develop plans for improvements at the intersection. The Legislature provided funding for construction and to purchase property needed for this project earlier this year.
