Come sail away with the new winter ferry schedule

SEATTLE – Set an open or planned course with the Washington State Ferries winter sailing schedule beginning Sunday, Jan. 12. Highlights of the winter 2014 schedule, in effect through April 5, include:

  • Sidney, B.C.: As with previous winters, service to Sidney, B.C. is suspended.
  • Anacortes/San Juan Islands: Three vessels will operate on weekends. Four vessels will remain in service on weekdays.
  • Fauntleroy/Vashon Island/Southworth: Fewer sailings on weekends.

Schedules and other trip-planning tools including available vehicle spaces, terminal cameras, and best times to travel are available online, on the ferry or at the terminal. For those on the go, the Washington State Department of Transportation’s mobile app also contains a full listing of the most current ferry schedule.
