GIG HARBOR – The Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 13, to begin discussing toll rate changes for the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. This work session marks the first in a series of meetings that will extend through early 2013.
The Washington State Department of Transportation will present the updated Narrows Bridge financial plan to the CAC during a public working session on Tuesday night in Gig Harbor. The CAC will review the funding needs for the bridge and request rate scenarios for further analysis before recommending a new toll rate to the Washington State Transportation Commission.
New rates for all Washington state toll facilities will be effective July 1, 2013.
The public is welcome to attend committee meetings to view the information presented and submit written comments. Comments or questions can be submitted online at www.wsdot.wa.gov/Tolling/TNBTolling/CitizenAdvisoryCommittee. Public comment will also be heard during the Jan. 15 and Feb. 19 meetings.

• Tuesday, Nov. 13 – CAC work session 6 to 8 p.m.
• Tuesday, Dec. 11 – CAC work session 6 to 8 p.m.
• Tuesday, Feb. 05 – CAC meeting and public input 6 to 8 p.m.
• Tuesday, Feb. 19 – CAC meeting and public input 6 to 8 p.m.
