SEATTLE - The advisory committee for the Aviation Economic Impact Study will meet for the fourth and final time on Tuesday, Nov. 1, in Seattle.

When: Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to noon
Where: Puget Sound Regional Council, 1011 Western Avenue, Suite 500, Seattle, WA

During the meeting, the advisory committee will have an opportunity to provide input on a draft economic impact report for Washington state, and discuss other project deliverables and milestones. The committee has met three other times – in Seattle, Wenatchee and Spokane – during the project. The members represent a range of aviation and business-related stakeholders from across Washington.

The committee’s charge is to act as a sounding board to improve the project’s quality of analysis and communication. Key tasks include:

  • Review and provide input into the project’s data collection, economic analyses, and findings.
  • Share perspectives and expertise in areas including: the state’s aviation system, airport operations, use of the airports, and economic development.
  • Provide advice on how best to present and communicate project findings.

The Aviation Economic Impact Study is scheduled for completion in February 2012.
