WSDOT restricts I-82 eastbound traffic to inspect bridges September 29 near Selah

SELAH– On Monday, September 29, between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., I-82 eastbound traffic - crossing the Naches River Bridge and the Yakima River Bridge - will be restricted to one lane. WSDOT bridge maintenance crews will be required to close the inside left lane on both bridges to safely perform inspections.

Eastbound I-82 drivers will need to slow down and pay attention to the orange signs, barrels and electronic message boards that will direct traffic into the right lane through the construction zone.

Eastbound I-82 Exit 30 off-ramp to Selah will remain open to traffic.

This new traveler information system builds upon the highly successful Washington State Highway hotline that managed 4.6 million calls each year. Callers can also use 5-1-1 to get statewide construction, mountain pass condition, and state ferry system information, as well as toll free numbers for passenger rail and airlines.
