WSDOT Travel Advisory

WSDOT conducts rolling slow downs on I-90 near Snoqualmie Pass Aug. 27 and 28 for tree removal

Drivers should plan for delays

Snoqualmie Pass – WSDOT maintenance crews will be slowing traffic down on I-90 in both directions to remove trees along Lake Keechelus on Wednesday, Aug. 27 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and again on Thursday morning, Aug. 28, if needed. The trees tagged for removal, between Gold Creek and Price Creek pose a risk of falling onto the highway during severe weather conditions.

Drivers need to slow down and be alert as they approach the orange signs, cones, and electronic message sign that will direct traffic through the work zone.
