SEATTLE – Drivers should expect closures of eastbound SR 520 and the floating bridge from 6:45 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 29 for this year’s VM Team Medicine Seafair Marathon.

What drivers need to know:

  • from 6:45 a.m to 7:15 a.m. all eastbound lanes from the northbound and southbound I-5 exits to Montlake Boulevard will be closed
  • from 7:15 a.m. to 9 a.m. all eastbound lanes of SR 520 from Montlake Boulevard to 84th Avenue NE (Hunts Point) will be closed

Runners will start at Husky Stadium and head east over the bridge before the course takes them through nine miles of waterfront properties in Kirkland and Bellevue.

Drivers who want to cross the lake using the SR 520 floating bridge should cross Lake Washington at least an hour before the beginning closure time. No stopping or parking is allowed on the floating bridge.
