I-90: WSDOT restricts one lane eastbound near Cle Elum
Mileposts: 78
Starting at midnight Sunday, May 11 through 9 a.m. Friday, May 16, WSDOT crews closed one lane eastbound on I-90 near the Golf Course Road (Exit 78) interchange. WSDOT and the contractor will be resurfacing the Yakima River Bridge with a new concrete overlay.
The speed limit is reduced in this area to 50 mph. Drivers should expect back-ups during peak travel times.
Bicycles will detour around the work zone from I-90 on Golf Course Road, then onto Westside Road to Cle Elum.
Drivers need to slow down and be alert as they approach this lane closure. Signs, cones, and portable electronic signs will direct traffic through the work zone.
