TACOMA – Westbound State Route 16 will be down to one lane across the old Tacoma Narrows Bridge between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, Wednesday, December 12 and Thursday, December 13.
Tacoma Narrows Constructors crews need to close the other westbound lanes while they remove construction-related equipment under the bridge. A crane and other heavy equipment will be situated in the closed area.
The far right lane will remain closed around the clock through February for ongoing bridge rail replacement work.
The eastbound Tacoma Narrows Bridge will operate as normal during the lane closures.
