LAKEWOOD – Maintenance crews repairing concrete next week on SR 512 will close lanes and ramps near the I-5 interchange.
Closure information is as follows:
• Monday, Oct. 22, 10 p.m. - 3 a.m., crews close the ramp from eastbound SR 512 to northbound I-5 and the two right-lanes of eastbound SR 512. A signed detour will be in place at Steele Street.
• Tuesday, Oct. 23, 10 p.m. - 3 a.m., crews close the ramp from northbound I-5 to westbound SR 512 and the two left lanes of westbound SR 512. During these closures, traffic will be detoured onto 84th Street.
• Wednesday, Oct. 24, 10 p.m. - 3 a.m., crews close a left lane in each direction of SR 512.
WSDOT crews the Washington State Patrol will be stationed in the area during these maintenance activities. WSDOT and WSP remind motorists to slow down and pay attention in work zones. Traffic fines double in work zones.
