Washington State Ferries to Hold Ferry Advisory Committee Public Meetings

(SEATTLE) - Washington State Ferries (WSF) and local Ferry Advisory Committees (FAC) will meet in a series of public meetings to be held throughout the ferry system.  Ferry system staff and FAC members will discuss a number of issues related to WSF operations and service. 

Each agenda is tailored to local ferry routes, but general topics will include information on WSF's electronic fare system, results from a recent Origin and Destination Survey and a report on local operational issues and schedule changes. A public comment period will be included at the end of each meeting.

WSF and local FACs will host the following meetings:

  • Tuesday, September 18: South Sound
    McMurray Middle School, 9329 SW Cemetery Road, Vashon Island
    6:30 p.m.
    This meeting serves the ferry communities of Vashon Island, Southworth, and Fauntleroy
  • Thursday, September 20: North Sound
    Fort Worden, 200 Battery Way, Company C, Port Townsend
    6:30 p.m.
    This meeting serves the ferry communities of Port Townsend, Keystone, Clinton and Mukilteo
  • Tuesday, September 25: Central Sound
    Kingston Yacht Club, 25915 Washington Blvd, Kingston
    6:30 p.m.
    This meeting serves the ferry communities of Kingston, Edmonds, Bainbridge, Bremerton and Seattle
  • Thursday, September 27: Anacortes
    Flounder Bay Caf�, 2201 Skyline Way, Anacortes
    9:00 a.m.
    This meeting serves the ferry community of Anacortes.
  • Thursday, September 27: San Juan Islands
    Mullis Senior Center, 589 Nash Street, Friday Harbor
    2:30 p.m. 
    This meeting serves the ferry communities of the San Juan Islands.
