PORT ORCHARD –A two-day paving operation on State Route 166 starts tomorrow within the city of limits of Port Orchard.
Beginning tomorrow, crews will pave both lanes (starting eastbound) between Peninsula Feed and Bay Ford. During this paving operation, the roadway will remain open to two-way traffic. Motorists, traveling in a direction being paved, will be re-directed into the center turn-lane, and led through the work zone by cones and barrels.
Work hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow and Thursday. All work is weather dependent.
Crews working in close proximity to the roadway can be a visual distraction. Drivers should pay close attention to the roadway and watch their speed. Traffic fines double in work zones.
Drivers can call 5-1-1 or visit www.wsdot.wa.gov/traffic/ for road and traffic updates.
