BELLEVUE – Next week crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will prepare to widen the northbound I-405 bridge over Coal Creek Parkway, and set up work zones on I-405 just south of I-90. Construction closures affecting I-405 traffic in Bellevue the week of July 20-27 include:
I-405 Mainline
- Monday through Thursday nights, crews will close two right northbound lanes from 112th Avenue SE to Coal Creek Parkway to work on the bridge over Coal Creek Parkway and locate drainage pipes. The first lane will close at 8 p.m., the second at 11 p.m.. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 5 a.m. each following morning.
I-405/112th Avenue SE interchange
- POSTPONED from TONIGHT - Tuesday night crews will close the northbound on-ramp from 112th Avenue SE from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday morning to set temporary barriers. This closure was originally scheduled for tonight, but has been postponed by the contractor.
I-405/Coal Creek Parkway interchange
- POSTPONED from TONIGHT - Tuesday night crews will close the northbound exit to Coal Creek Parkway from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday morning to set temporary barriers. This closure was originally scheduled for tonight, but has been postponed by the contractor.
- Monday night crews will close all lanes of Coal Creek Parkway under I-405 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday morning. During the closure, crews will prepare to widen the east side of the northbound I-405 bridge over Coal Creek Parkway by removing the barrier and overhang on the edge of the existing bridge.
