NISQUALLY – Repair work on a 562-foot stretch of damaged guardrail on Interstate 5 near the Nisqually River Bridge requires single-lane closures this weekend.
WSDOT crews plan to close the right northbound lane from 3 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, and Sunday, July 22. Drivers should plan ahead for delays.
A truck carrying a load of watermelons struck the guardrail July 13 after leaving the roadway and rolling down an embankment.
Drivers can call 5-1-1 or visit www.wsdot.wa.gov/traffic/ for road and traffic updates.
