SEATAC – A contractor working for the Federal Aviation Administration will close all lanes of State Route 518 Wednesday night.
At 10 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, crews will close eastbound SR 518 at SR 509. At 11 p.m. Wednesday crews will close westbound SR 518 at Des Moines Memorial Drive. The westbound SR 518 ramp to Sea-Tac Airport and to SR 99 will remain open. All lanes in both directions of SR 518 will reopen by 5 a.m. Thursday, June 21. Signed detours will be provided during the closure.
Drivers traveling to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport should expect delays and plan to be at the airport two hours before their flights.
