The following notice is from Harvey Field regarding the Noise Abatement Procedure.
The work of the Harvey Airfield Noise Program Committee regarding the
Northerly 290 Degree Noise Abatement Procedure is an effort to diminish noise complaints from citizen's living north of the airport and in the Fobes Hill, Riverview Road area. Airport management is moving forward to implement recommendations by addressing the departure and arrival to the airfield to and from the north. This is an on-going effort to address the concerns of citizens of the city and those that live in the noise sensitive area under the flight path of departing and arriving aircraft.
We would appreciate you taking the time to review the recommended procedures listed here. If you have any questions, please contact Heather Harvey-Waldo or Tom Nesko at Harvey Airfield at 360-568-1541. We appreciate your input and suggestions that would improve our noise management policies and procedures.
