DUPONT – Crews Thursday, Jan. 11, will close the right southbound lane of Interstate 5 in the vicinity of Mounts Road for landslide repair work.
The lane closure begins at 9 a.m. and likely will extend into the afternoon commute hours, while maintenance workers are stabilizing an area washed out by recent heavy rains. Crews will be installing guardrail.
Southbound drivers in the DuPont/Fort Lewis area should expect additional congestion due to the lane restriction.
