I-405 / NE 85th Street interchange

I-405 / NE 124th Street interchange

Kirkland streets affected by I-405 construction
- NEW - On Thursday crews plan to close the left lane in each direction of Totem Lake Blvd. between NE 132nd and NE 128th streets from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. These lane closures will not occur at the same time as the southbound right lane closure (see below). Crews will raise water valves.
- Expect weekday closures of the right southbound lane on Totem Lake Blvd. near NE 128th Street from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. This protects drivers as construction vehicles enter and leave the median work zone.
- 116th Avenue NE is reduced to one lane in each direction at the NE 128th Street intersection for several weeks as crews rebuild the intersection. Flaggers will assist construction vehicles entering and leaving the work zone and will direct pedestrian traffic.
All of these closures are necessary for crews to perform work associated with WSDOT’s Kirkland Nickel Improvement Project and Sound Transit’s Totem Lake Freeway Station Project. For more information or to sign up for e-mail updates, visit www.wsdot.wa.gov/projects/i405.
