KELSO – The public will have the opportunity to learn more about the new I-5, SR 432 Talley Way Interchange Project design on Wednesday, Sept. 27, announced the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT). The project team began preliminary environmental and geotechnical studies over the spring and summer, leading to a new, updated design that will be on display for the public to view. Details of the Open House are as follows:
Wednesday, September 27
4 p.m. – 7 p.m. (stop by anytime)
Kelso Area Engineering Office
2400 Talley Way
Kelso
At the open house, the public will be able to view displays and talk to WSDOT staff about the project. Feedback about the projects, associated concerns and suggestions from the public are also welcome. There will be no formal presentations, so the public is encouraged to stop by anytime between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
This project will improve the I-5 interchange at SR 432 (Exit 36), and the adjacent SR 432 interchange at Talley Way. Improvements to safety and mobility will be made, while also helping to relieve congestion.
