Interstate 405 mainline

  • UPDATED - Expect closures of up to three northbound I-405 lanes in the Totem Lake area Monday through Thursday nights for paving and surveying. The first lane will close at 9 p.m.  All northbound lanes will reopen by 6 a.m. each morning.
  • UPDATED - Expect periodic closures of the northbound HOV lane near NE 124th Street EXCEPT during evening rush hours and on Friday night.  These closures protect drivers as construction vehicles enter and leave the median work zone.

  • NEW – Expect a 15-minute rolling slowdown on all southbound lanes near NE 116th Street sometime between midnight and 5 a.m. one night this week. Construction crews will be working on the ramp meter.

  • Drivers should expect delays at the southbound I-405 on-ramp at NE 116th Street.  This ramp is narrowed for several months for construction.  Carpools, vanpools and buses may use the HOV bypass lane on the NE 124th Street on-ramp.
