**STATE CONSTRUCTION UPDATE**
Crews close access at 32nd Street along SR 11 in Bellingham on Thursday
Highway number: State Route 11
Geographical location: Bellingham, Whatcom County
Description: Crews will permanently close access to and from 32nd Street at Fairhaven Parkway (SR 11). 32nd Street is too close to the southbound I-5 exit. Closing access will increase safety and help prevent accidents.
Start time: 7 a.m. Thursday, July 27
Other information: With access at 32nd Street closed, drivers will now use Donovan Street and 30th Street to access Old Fairhaven Parkway. This is part of a larger $2.5 million project to improve the southbound I-5 exit and on ramp at the SR 11 interchange.
