PIERCE COUNTY - The State Route (SR) 512 Canyon Road overpass will receive pavement repairs and a newly paved surface this week. WSDOT awarded Tucci & Sons Inc. of Tacoma the contract to repair potholes in the road surface.
Pavement grinding and repair work will occur Tuesday, June 27. The right southbound lane of the bridge deck will be closed from 8 to 11 a.m., and the right northbound lane of the bridge deck will be closed from noon until 4:30 p.m.
Paving will occur Friday from 8 p.m. until Saturday at 5 a.m. Crews will initially pave the southbound right lane of the bridge deck and once complete, they will pave the right lane of the bridge deck in the northbound direction.
