VANCOUVER – The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will close the I-205 southbound Mill Plain off ramp, at 10 p.m. tonight for construction work. The ramp will reopen Friday morning, June 16, at 6 a.m.

In addition to the ramp closure, there will be single lane closures on Mill Plain in the vicinity of the I-205 interchange. Flaggers will be on site directing traffic on Mill Plain in each direction, while signal relocation work is taking place. Motorists traveling on Mill Plain in this vicinity should expect up to 20 minute delays, while traffic is temporarily stopped.

This work is part of the I-205 Southbound Off Ramp Project, the first Transportation Partnership-funded project to be constructed in the WSDOT Southwest Region. Construction is anticipated to last 35 working days. For more information on this project, visit the project web page at: www.wsdot.wa.gov/Projects/i205/MillPlainOffRamp.

Advanced warning signs will be posted ahead of the construction site. WSDOT would like to remind all motorists to slow down and pay attention to the warning signs while driving near the closure area.
