WSDOT invites public participation in the State Scenic & Recreational Highways Plan, an element of Washington’s Multi-modal Transportation Plan. With assistance and advisement from a Steering Committee and Local Byway Groups, WSDOT will produce background papers to form the foundation for the plan. You can review and comment on these background papers, the first to be posted by August 3, 2009, by clicking on the links on this webpage below.
WSDOT will post a draft of the State Scenic & Recreational Highways Plan in December 2009. To acquire a printed copy of the background papers or the draft Plan, please call 360-705-7258 or email Reevesp@wsdot.wa.gov.
WSDOT has also established an email discussion list that is open to all interested parties to solicit feedback during development of the Plan. To subscribe to this list, please click here.
