Bridge Services provides:

Training and Education by offering classes and access to other education opportunities.

In order to ensure local agencies understand how to apply, follow and use mandatory documents like:

• National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS)
• Washington State Bridge Inspection Manual (WSBIM)

As well as other valuable Manuals and Resources useful for the maintenance and upkeep of bridges.

Bridge services is responsible for oversight of Federal standards and reporting requirements through:

• BridgeWorks.Net, software provided and supported by Local Programs used to manage and submit bridge Inspection data.
• On-site Quality Assurance Reviews of local agency bridge programs, either by Local Programs staff or in  conjunction with FHWA Bridge personnel.
