Based on the most recent data released by the Federal Highway Administration in 2010, over $570 billion of freight was moved to, from, and within Washington State using all modes. Trucks carried $334 billion of the total or about $37 million of goods every hour of every day. Truck freight is expected to grow about 3% annually between 2010 and 2040.
