Vessel Incident Investigations

WSF conducts formal investigations of vessel incidents to identify the causes of the incidents and how to prevent them from recurring. Managers and subject matter experts from different departments of WSF work as a team to complete these investigations. You can read about the investigations in the WSDOT Lessons Learned System.
