Since 1999, the Liaison Program has provided staff from state and federal resource agencies dedicated to delivering transportation projects. This program provides specialists who work only on WSDOT and local agency transportation projects and can include working with WSDOT on early environmental coordination, Permitting, Endangered Species Act (ESA) consultations, and environmental review of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documents.
Some liaison positions are filled with WSDOT staff based at the resource agency while others are resource agency staff funded by WSDOT.
WSDOT Environmental Services Office has Liaisons in the following agencies.
For more information, please contact the WSDOT Liaison Program Manager, Cameron Kukes, at 360-705-7662 or any of the Liaison staff.
