Environmental Training

WSDOT staff take environmental training to help our projects stay in compliance with regulatory requirements.  We offered 124 classes with 1,786 participants during the 2011-2013 biennium.  WSDOT Environmental offers over a dozen courses ranging from Introduction to Wetlands to Permitting Workshop. The courses listed below are available for consultants.

Environmental training is also provided through other organizations.
This is a partial list of organizations that offer a variety of environmental training.

Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) These courses are coordinated through the WSDOT Highways and Local Programs Office focused primarily on a local government audience.  They coordinate courses from a variety of training partners including WSDOT.
