The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) makes these documents available on an "as is" basis. All warranties and representations of any kind with regard to said documents are disclaimed, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular use. The WSDOT does not warrant the documents against deficiencies of any kind.

All CAD files (*.DGN) were created with Bentley® MicroStation® (*.dgn files) version 8 (V8).  These files are ready for download in their *.DGN format and also in Adobe Acrobat (*.PDF) format.  PDF's are an informational source for designers and others within and outside WSDOT as a reference base to check for file accuracy. Receiver agrees that WSDOT cannot be held responsible for problems arising from downloaded files.

Since revisions or additions to the design file standards may occur at any time, the Receiver agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless WSDOT, its officers, agents, and employees from and against any and all claims, suits, losses, damages or costs, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising from the use of outdated design file standards, and such indemnification shall survive acceptance of said file(s) by receiver.
