The fill-in value shall be 20 percent except as otherwise
specified. The fill-in value shall be 50 percent for all
modular expansion joint systems installed at locations
subject to significant braking and acceleration forces or
to particularly large movement ranges. Coordination with
the Bridge and Structures Office Bearing and Expansion Joint
