Here's a look at construction work and road closures that could affect your commute over the next 24 hours:
SR 9 near Maltby: Crews will alternately close north and southbound lanes of SR 9 between 184th Street Southeast and 197th Street Southeast from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday to install culverts. Traffic will be flagged through the construction zone.
DRIVER ALERT - SR 522 Monroe: Crews will close SR 522 in both directions near 164th Street Southeast from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday to install traffic detection devices.
I-90 Express Lanes: Crews will close the I-90 express lanes at 8 p.m. for sign bridge installation. The lanes will reopen to westbound traffic by 5 a.m. Thursday.
I-90 Mercer Island: Crews will close the two right lanes of eastbound I-90 at Island Crest Way from 9 p.m., until 5 a.m. Thursday for sign bridge installation.
SR 520 Medina:
- Crews will close the left two lanes of westbound SR 520 at 84th Avenue Northeast from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Thursday for bridge pier work.
- Crews will close the 84th Avenue Northeast on-ramp to westbound SR 520 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday for bridge pier work.
- Crews will close the right lane in both directions of SR 520 at Evergreen Point Road for bridge pier work. The westbound lane will close at 9 p.m., the eastbound lane will close at 11 p.m., and both lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Thursday.
SR 518 near Burien: Crews will close up to two lanes in both directions of SR 518 between SR 99 and 154th Street from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Thursday for placement of temporary striping. Work is weather dependent.

DRIVER ALERT - I-5 at SR 18 in Federal Way: Crews will close all southbound lanes and two northbound lanes of I-5 from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Saturday. Detour route.
DRIVER ALERT - SR 520 between Seattle and Bellevue: Crews will close both directions of SR 520 between I-405 and Montlake Boulevard from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27.

DRIVER ALERT - I-5 at SR 18 in Federal Way: Crews will close all northbound lanes of I-5 from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday. Detour route.
Long term closures
West Lake Sammamish Parkway: A section of West Lake Sammamish Parkway damaged by a mudslide on Jan. 22 will likely reopen in late March or early April. The city of Bellevue is working on repairing the street. As a result of the closure, Interstate 90 is experiencing increased pressure and congestion.
