Traveler Notice

Daytime Closures 

I-5 Burlington: The left lane of southbound I-5 just south of SR 20 will be closed from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. for guardrail repair.

I-5 Seattle: The left lane of the northbound I-5 express lanes at the Ship Canal Bridge will be closed from noon to 1 p.m. for bridge inspection.

SR 9 Snohomish/Lake Stevens: Traffic will alternate on SR 9 from New Bunk Foss Road to 32nd Street Southeast from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for danger tree removal.

SR 99 Shoreline: Up to one lane of southbound SR 99/Aurora Avenue from SR 104 to North 192nd Street may be closed during the daytime non-commute hours for construction, irrigation/landscaping and utility work.

I-405 Bellevue: One lane and/or the shoulder of the Coal Creek Parkway on-ramp to southbound I-405 will be closed from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for electrical work. The right turn pocket from eastbound Coal Creek Parkway to the southbound I-405 on-ramp will also be closed.

SR 522 Monroe: A single lane in each direction of SR 522 from the Snohomish River Bridge to U.S. 2 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for bridge painting.

Nighttime Closures 

I-5 Seattle/Shoreline:

  • Up to four lanes of northbound I-5 from Northeast 145th Street to Northeast 175th Street will be closed from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. for concrete roadway grinding.
  • Up to three lanes of southbound I-5 from Northeast 175th Street to Northeast 145th Street will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for sign and barrier work.

I-90 Express Lanes:

  • The eastbound I-90 Express Lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for construction. The lanes will open westbound by 6 a.m.
  • The eastbound I-90 HOV off-ramp to I-405 is closed around the clock for eight weeks for construction.

SR 167 Algona: The left lane of southbound SR 167 near 1st Avenue North will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for design work.

I-405 Bellevue to Lynnwood: Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 85th Street and Northeast 70th Street will close starting at 7 p.m. for tolling work. All lanes will be open by 5 a.m. For all other lane and ramp closures on I-405 from Bellevue to Lynnwood, please see our Construction Update Report.

SR 520 Bellevue: The eastbound and westbound SR 520 ramps to northbound I-405 will close from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. for electrical work.

SR 520 Seattle: The right lane of westbound SR 520 from the west highrise to SR 513/Montlake Boulevard East will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for work trestle deliveries.

SR 522 Bothell: The eastbound and westbound SR 522 ramps to southbound I-405 will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for roadway excavation work.

SR 522 Monroe: A single lane in each direction of SR 522 from the Snohomish River Bridge to U.S. 2 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for traffic loop installation.

SR 529 Everett: Southbound SR 529 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. for bridge work. Drivers will follow a signed detour. The southbound I-5 exit to SR 529 will also be closed.
