Traveler Notice

Eastbound I-90 detour May 1-4: Eastbound I-90 will be reduced to one lane approaching the Mount Baker Tunnel and all eastbound traffic will re rerouted into the express lanes from 11 p.m. Friday, May 1 to 5 a.m. Monday, May 4. More details: http://1.usa.gov/1OYBsOA

Weekend Closures 

**Weekend-long detour**

I-90 Seattle to Bellevue:
Eastbound I-90 traffic will be reduced to one lane just before the Mount Baker Tunnel then rerouted to the express lanes until Bellevue Way Southeast from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for construction.

**Weekend-long closure**

I-405 Kirkland: The southbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 160th Street will be closed from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for paving work.

Friday, May 1

I-405 Kirkland/Bellevue:

  • Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 70th Street and SR 520 will close starting at 8 p.m. Friday for paving work. The first lane will open by 6 a.m. Saturday and all lanes will be open by 7 a.m.

Saturday, May 2

SR 9 Mount Vernon: A single lane of SR 9 near Lake Creek will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for utility work. Traffic will be flagged through the closure.

SR 167 Kent:

  • The right lane of southbound SR 167 just after 84th Avenue South/North Central Avenue will be closed from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. for bridge inspection.
  • The right lane of northbound SR 167 just before 84th Avenue South/North Central Avenue will be closed from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. for bridge inspection.

I-405 Kirkland/Bellevue:

  • Up to four lanes of northbound I-405 between SR 520 and Northeast 70th Street will close starting at 7 p.m. Saturday for paving work. The first lane will open at 7:30 a.m. Sunday and all lanes will be open by noon.
  • Up to three lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 70th Street and Northeast 85th Street will close starting at 7 p.m. for paving work. The first lane will open at 8 a.m. and all lanes will be open by 10 a.m.

SR 410 Enumclaw: Traffic will alternate on SR 410 at the White River Bridge from 5:30 a.m. to about 9:30 a.m. for bridge inspection.

SR 513 Seattle: The Montlake Bridge (State Route 513) will close to vehicle and foot traffic from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. as part of Opening Day of Seattle's boating season.

SR 520 Seattle: The westbound SR 520 ramp to Montlake Boulevard and the left-turn lane of the eastbound SR 520 ramp to northbound Montlake Boulevard will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. as part of Opening Day of Seattle's boating season.

Sunday, May 3

SR 181 Tukwila: Multiple lanes of northbound SR 181 between S. 180th Street and Strander Boulevard will be closed from 8 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday for pavement grinding work. This work is weather dependent.

I-405 Kirkland/Bellevue:

  • Up to three lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 124th Street and Northeast 160th Street will close starting at 7:30 p.m. for paving work. The first lane will open by 5:00 a.m. and all lanes will be open by 6:30 a.m.
