We're planning ahead for winter weather. Maintenance facilities near the U.S.-Canada border will be upgraded, and crews will have more than 70 additional staffers stationed along the I-5 corridor.

More than 25 extra pieces of equipment and 34 additional tow trucks will be at the ready in case of collisions or inclement weather. We're also planning to enhance our snow and ice removal techniques and find additional sites to stockpile snow and ice removal materials.
