Agency-wide performance reporting is a high priority at WSDOT. Although the Gray Notebook is the agency's main performance assessment, reporting, and communication tool, there are many other related accountability and performance products available. Transportation Policy Goals & Attainment
RCW 47.04.280 requires the establishment and measurement of transportation policy goals related to preservation, safety, mobility, environment, and economic vitality. 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Reporting
In early spring 2009, President Obama signed into law the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (also known as the stimulus program). WSDOT provides updated reporting on projects supported by the stimulus program through a regular newsletter, projects website, and quarterly reporting in the Gray Notebook.
Congestion and Mobility Reporting
Each fall, WSDOT publishes an updated Annual Congestion Report that evaluates conditions and trends for the state's most congested corridors. The report assesses the previous calendar year with data from two years prior. The Annual Congestion report is published alongside the September 30th edition of the Gray Notebook. There are also Semi-Annual Travel Time Trends reports published in the Gray Notebook, providing updated analysis of how economic factors are impacting congestion.

WSDOT actively researches and explores national and international performance measurement trends, and has produced additional publications, papers, and presentations involving its research and analysis. more....
